Welcome to The Pearl Button, a gorgeous boho chic bridal boutique in the heart of Shrewsbury, set within the historic 15th century Abbots House. Our boutique offers a unique and intimate space for the modern, free-spirited bride who is searching for the perfect wedding dress.
After years of working in bridal and the wedding industry, co-owners and work besties, Anna and Steph wanted to create the dream bridal boutique and a collection of dream wedding dresses that was completely different to any other collection, offering brides - sparkles, beautiful romantic laces, modern beading, chunky pearls as well as some sensational modern classic wedding dresses too. We are delighted to be stocking our favourite designers in the shop, Madi Lane and Willowby by Watters, as well as some incredible bridal pieces from top bridal designer, Bowen Dryden and a gorgeous plus size collection from Millie Grace.
We know that finding the perfect wedding dress can feel overwhelming, but please be reassured that we have years of experience with brides and offer a relaxed, pressure free appointment experience. When you arrive, we'll welcome you with a cup of tea and our slippers on, ready to hear all about your wedding plans. Our Story
Hello! We are Anna and Steph, co-owners and Bridal consultant dream team at The Pearl Button. Even though our chapter at The Pearl Button is new, our chapter in the bridal/wedding industry is much longer.
Previous to The Pearl Button, Steph has always had a passion for retail. After 10 years of working for TK Maxx in their buying and merchandising team, Steph relocated back to her hometown of Shrewsbury from Hertfordshire to fulfil a lifelong dream of opening her first bridal boutique, Bridal Reloved on Hill’s lane.
Steph and Anna met whilst working on several styled shoots together and attending local wedding fairs, as Anna also runs her own successful wedding stationery business, Evelyn and Elliot. With over 10 years of experience within the wedding industry, Anna brings a wealth of experience, has an incredible eye for style and detail and has a real talent for pulling together a brides whole look.
After working together in Bridal Reloved, we realised what a dream team we were! We loved and appreciated the beauty of wedding dresses, as well as enjoying meeting and helping brides find their perfect dress. We came up with the idea of a dream bridal boutique with the ultimate collection of wedding dresses, and when our incredible building in Abbots House became available, it was time to turn our dream boutique into a reality – we are still pinching ourselves at the beauty of the building and how much our vision has come to life in the most beautiful way.
