How it works
Are you about to embark on your wedding dress journey? No idea where to start? This page will guide you through the process and give you an idea of a time frame for wedding dress shopping and what to expect when you choose The Pearl Button.
When should you start? We believe the best time to shop for your wedding dress is 9-18 months before your wedding day.
1. Booking your bridal experience
You've visited our website and viewed our socials and have decided that The Pearl Button feels like it could be your bridal vibe. To book your bridal experience and begin your journey please click here for availability and to secure your 2hr private appointment with Steph & Anna.
Come prepared to find your dream dress, we know you are going to love our collection as much as we do.
2. Finding your dress
After welcoming you in to the boutique, we will have a brief consultation to discuss your plans for your day and your bridal style and vision. We listen to your ideas, concerns and how you want to feel on your wedding day - and then we pop the kettle on!
We then take you shopping and together choose a selection of dresses for you to try.
As we work through your rail of dresses, we start to understand what makes you feel beautiful and confident until eventually we are left with your top contenders.
Most of our brides have their 'YES' moment in their first appointment but we do offer a retry appointment if you need space and time to make your decision. We want you to be 100% happy with your wedding dress.
3. What happens after you say yes
We've ordered your dream dress and it's with the designer being made for you. It usually takes up to 20 weeks to arrive back in the boutique. We will then be in touch for you to come and try on YOUR dress and take her home.
In your collection appointment, this is a great time to complete your bridal look. We have a fantastic veil collection, beautiful jewellery and hair accessories.
4. Dress Fitting
We don't currently offer fittings in house but we do recommend a fantastic seamstress based in Shrewsbury.
You will aim to have your first fitting 6-8 weeks before your wedding day.
For your first fitting you need to have your shoes and underwear that you'll be wearing on the day.
Please note our recommended seamstress gets really busy so it's worth contacting her as soon as you buy your wedding dress to secure a date with her - we will supply more details when you say yes to your dress.
